What does Foundry believe?
We confess the historic doctrines of the Christian faith, as summarized below:
GOD: God is one. He manifested himself in three distinct persons also known as the Trinity.
Father--Creator of the universe
Son--Savior of the world, who came to show God’s love for us. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on our behalf, and rose again on the third day.
Holy Spirit--God’s Divine presence in our lives, guiding and sustaining us. (Matthew 28:19)
BIBLE: God revealed himself, his will, his love, and his grace through the inspired scriptures, which are our rule and authority in faith and life. (II Timothy 3:16)
PEOPLE: Though we were created in the image of God, to be in relationship with our Creator, we have been estranged from God through sin and are all in need of redemption. (Romans 3:23)
SALVATION: We are saved in this life and for the next life by grace, through faith in Christ. It is every believer's birthright to know where he or she stands with God. (Ephesians 2:8-10)
CHURCH: God brings all believers into one church family, meeting in local congregations in order to worship him and to be equipped to be his redemptive presence in the world. (Ephesians 4:4-16)
